Memories, had one as a kid. Very accurate. Sorry my father gave it to some French farmer in the end.

i'd like one as an informal benchrest rifle , cheap scope and away i go , there is loads for sale in england , any i have seen here so far are worn out ex-club guns .

thanks 4gun i've seen them too ,trouble is they're not in one spot and i can't see myself traveling around england viewing them , i have seen them on irish dealers shelves years ago and have found several of the older model 12 15's which can be picked up for small money , these were manufactured up to the outbreak of war in 1939 , and there seems to be a lot of them about ,
i want the international though because its a more modern design and the international mk 3 because it has a fully floating barrel unlike the earlier and later ones .
somewhere in ireland there is a dealer scowling at a dusty bsa international and he's wondering why the hell he ever took it as a trade in as he can't get rid of it .

cheers sikamick , i happened too ring him today and talked to him a bit about the one i want , he's pretty sure he has what i want , and i've found a mk4 isu in dublin also which i hope to view , only trouble with this particular mark is that it was never supplied with scope blocks like the others.
these rifles are making good money in the states , a decent one is over a thousand dollars now and several places are sendng buyers over to the uk to buy ex-club guns and other firearms like the vickers and anschutz 54's

I have a MkIII which I bought from Jim, it is immaculate and extremely accurate, one thing it has is a thumb hole stock which I think might have been customized from the original.

    Some Info.
