Wanted a Savage BVSS in 22/250 either in good condition secondhand or if some one knows of a dealer with one new.

    Thanks,

    Thanks Tomcat,

my other option is the CZ 550 Kevlar stocked varmint in the same cal. but I've had 12 various CZ's now and I like the look of the savage.

Although that CZ is calling me and I know they're a great rifle .

Any opinions as to which?? and who has one in stock??

FS I was looking for a Savage rifle before I bought my varmint and again before I settled on the sako 75 in 308. Any that I have has the pleasure of using at the range are good and I like the Accutrigger. I was qutoed €1400 (maybe €1550 I think) for a 12 FVSS 12-18 months ago.

They are not easy to get here in Ireland as the dealers seem to keep to the other known makes that will sell for them. I did get a quote off the dealer in Tallaght for a 116 series. Best to get all the dealers numbers from the dealers Wikki here and ring around.

Another point the 116 series now has, from 2009 only, a new bedding system in the stock called the AccuStock.

    Stakelums have a model 12 F/TR in stock @€;1650.

Should have told me you wanted one. I have a Seaking in the back garden for years now. Needs a little work but it's still great fun.
