Hi, I use a fastrack pro live only great bit of kit just a few minor things:

1: you have to push the input pot up quite alot to get a decent input im saying up to about 3 o clock on the dial before you get anything worth using and then it jumps to uncontrollable.

2: M Audio do not support anything to do with giga so no usb drivers for giga sampler etc...

3: the buffer size cannot go lower than 128 not really a problem but just keep in mind should you want to drop it down?!?

    thats all really......... :D

I've been using one for around 18 months. It's been used live and for recording many times and been hawked around Europe + Australia and never given me any grief.

The previous poster makes valid points re inputs, buffer, etc.

    what about headphone volume?
    and latency?
My biggest 2 issues with my current interface.

No problem with headphone volume here. I use it for practice a lot because theres a knob to control the balance between the input monitoring and the output, very handy. I dont use it in a latency dependant way so I'm not sure about that.

I've had one for four years. Great little piece of kit for the money. No obvious drawbacks or flaws. I used it almost entirely as a soundcard and never any problems with levels, etc. Only now after four years is the output starting to go a bit (have to twiddle a bit to get both speakers playing)
