    Happy Aphelion all

We're furthest from the Sun today and tomorrow, although it doesnt feel like it! If you dont understand it there's a nice article here which explains it clearly

Do the aphelion and perihelion occur at the same date every year? I'd imagine that they would since the orbit is symmetrical, no?

They are usually around the same day.

Dates until 2020 are about 3/4's of the way down the page

I love spaceweather.com it's great to check on every day and they have little nuggets of info that I wouldn't have remembered myself! I also like checking the list of asteroids, especially near ones....morbid but fun!
