Second hand bike

    Anybody know any decent places in dublin that seel second hand bikes for commuting to work..
    i bought a new bike last year but had so many problems with it..i have given up on it now

    Check out Rothar.ie, they're all about rebuilding and recycling vintage bikes, which go for about 150-200 euro, seem like a nice bunch, haven't made it over to their workshop yet (in Phibsboro)..

    Apart from that, I'd check out your local bike shop, or maybe a few different ones (I just check adverts.ie/gumtree.ie myself lately).

    Plenty of bike shops still sell second hand - usually the ones away from teh city centre. Wolfe Cycles in Kimmage sell second hand bikes. There's also a place near Harolds Cross bridge and another on the Crumlin Road.
