    Hi Gents,

Just wondering if anybody has had any experiences with either of these clubs and what are their thoughts?

Originally, i was going to buy a Wilson golf set for around €300 and be happy with the driver they give you, however i have found a great deal for both of these clubs and think ill just buy this and the irons seperately with a little extra cost. reason being, im a 24+ handicapper, however i feel if i can be consistent with my drives, ill knock 10 shots of my handicap as my iron game is quite good. apparently these clubs are both very forgiving with a higher MOI and a lower CG ( in particular the wilson club). Basically for my budget, id rather have a driver i wanted instead of a driver & 3 wood(which i wont use) which are basic and be saving my cash for a decent one anyway.

Padraig harrington endorses the wilson and the nike is the same one that lucas glover used to win the us open a few weeks ago.

    thanks

In own experince, the Wilson Spine driver just didn't work for me, the shaft was all wrong for me and i changed it numerous time. just because its got higher MOI and a lower CG don't mean a thing. Also what was the worst part is the sound of the impact!!! Horrid clank is best described.

It's a good looking club for me but its a no no.

I would suggest trying them out before handing over your hard earned cash!!!

I'm a beliver in the wilson irons, had deep reds, di7...all very workable for me

Hope you find something that works with u

Thanks Daddy2005. Having hit 2 stiff shaft clubs on wednesday, im feeling im suited better to the that rather than the regular shaft.

ye spot on with the wislon irons, im getting a set of deep reds myself, cheers.

btw, you are not the 1st person to mention the clank sound, however i can live with that!

Yeah i got a stiff shaft by mistake and i tried to change in for a regular shaft but the pro said it wasn't worth it as it expensive and i'm better off trying to trade it in for a regular shaft:mad:

    Not happy with that

Played with the di7...very forgiving and distance wise, it goes further allright!!!

    Enjoy
