hi everyone, I dont know if this will be closed etc but I dont exactly want legal advice as such.
I had braces for almost 3 years about 3 years ago.. My teeth are now moving (alot to me) and I am really down and angry. I cannot afford braces again and as yet have not called the dentist in question as his office currently closed. My question is, do I have any rights in this situation? Can anyone even direct me to where I could get the necessary information?
    Thanks

Having had some personal experience in this area, I'll throw in my 2 cents. Movement of teeth is natural throughout your life and it has happened me since I had my braces off, albeit that was a good 8-9 years ago. However, in my experience and what I'd assume most, if not all, orthodontists do is to provide you with retainers to wear at night from when you get your braces off and that you should return for check-ups every year or two, unless an earlier appointment is required. Most of these check-ups, AFAIK, are included in the original price paid but after a certain time they will be charged as extra.

Is this anything like your situation? Were you provided with retainers or aftercare? If you were and didn't wear them, you may not have much recourse.

Thanks for replyin Jev/N, I was given retainers and told to wear them for 2 years which I did.. Misplaced them after that.. I guess your right. Its just I worked so hard to pay for them and went through years of wearing them and am angry Il have to pay to get them again.. not with said dentist of course! Thanks anyway!
