Is there road access to the island or is it just by ferry? I have a job interview at the castle on monday and I am trying to find out how to get there. I've looked on the castle website but it just mentions directions to the ferry.
If you have to go by ferry how much is it and is there a website or number I can get to check the timetable?
    Thanks lads

You can only get across on the ferrry, there is no time table for the ferry as such it just basically runs all the time....just show up and it'll bring you across :)

    The ferry is free.

And just to add, the crossing takes about 2 or 3 minutes

Aye when you arrive you just queue and if the ferry isnt there, it will spot you and come over to collect you. Its a very quick trip, even less then 3mins. Just take a right when you come off the ferry and follow the road up - you can choose from the car park or the few spaces out the front (probably best to enter the car park). There is a walkway from the car park to the front door. :)
