    we need a set of tyres for 1 of the tractors, it has michelin radials but was told that these are very expensive,

    any help with a a fairly cheap radial brand, tractor will doing mostly field work so more interest in grip rather than wear.

    Firestone, dunlop etc etc :confused::confused::confused:

    I put a set on a tractor about 2 years ago. It had Goodyear tyres and they were about 2 foot wide. Got quoted €900 per tyre to put Goodyear on again.

    I couldn't justify it. I got a set of tyres that were manufactured in India, good deep grips and the same width as the goodyear's. After 2 years of use, and a fair bit of road work, I am very happy with them. I never got a puncture with them. They show no wear and the good thing is that they cost €520 each including fitting.

    For me cheaper was better.

    Do you know the brand name?

    These are also 2 foot wide, (think its 26.1 on 34 rims .. not sure) not many selling here locally & the usual bullsh"" , you can't get that size in such brand etc.
