I'm currently using a Huawei E220 with O2 3G broadband and it's fine, but I'm wondering if the 888 would be an improvement. I know it's pretty specific from person to person but I can't find any customer reviews for the 888 online, just ads. Anybody switched and happy?

If you have the lastest firmware on E220 there is little difference. The more important aspect is your signal level, distance from mast, number of phone users and data users in your sector, indoor or outdoor and if indoor the window facing or not the mast.

It's not worth getting locked into an extra 18months or spending money. (Wrong forum BTW as it's not Broadband).

Thanks for the reply (and the move). As I say, I'm happy enough with the E220 but obviously faster is always more attractive when it comes to download speeds.
