Couple of Questions (power related)

Using my laptop in our new motorhome Hymer C644 Fiat Ducato has been proving a problem on it's maiden voyage.

My laptop runs on 19.9 volts and I have a 300 watt inverter which is not up to the job when the laptop is powered on but will charge it when not powered on.. so I've been getting away with it...

is there anything that will up my 12v from the sockets to 19v? or do I just need a bigger inverter...

If the latter where is a good place to buy? I'm in NI once a week as well so this might be the place to look?

You need a dc to dc convertor...should be able to pick one up in a car accessory shop or a computerstore even easier.
Something like this.
