Apologies in advance if the answer is obvious.

Going to get a 32 gig new iphone as soon as its available again.

Is it possible to listen to radio(irish stations) on the phone without being online?
I can do this on my current nokia.

Nope, you can get FM headsets for older iPhones but I doubt that they work on an iPhone. There is however internet stations you can use through apps from the App Store, this uses the 3g connection on your phone.
