I went to a docter on the same thing.

    Three solutions.
    1. More rest! Largely caused by tiredness and hours of posting on boards won't help this
    2. Eat banananas, the potassium is excellent I'm told
    3. Ginseg tablets, brilliant stuff

Your eyeball is having a stroke. Soon you won't be able to look to the left with that eye. Sucks to be you.

That, or you might be dehydrated. When was the last time you took your eye swimming?

Mostly it's down to problems with your sinuses, due to either the onset of a cold/flu you're going to get or air conditioning (or worse still, air recirculation) in your workplace or home drying out your sinuses causing involuntary muscle spasms around your eye area, sometimes also progressing around the side and back of your head, close to your ears. Tiredness and stress also seem to aggravate symptoms.

Cold saline drops in your eyes help as does a few drops up your nostrils if you can bare it.

Flixonaise from a chemist will also help.

I'm no doctor btw, that's just my own diagnosis and help from when it effected me.

Given it's AH I suppose I should end with sperm, rubber gloves and a bicycle pump.
