They work uncomfortably well, imho. I felt like the Duracell bunny, and not in a good way.

In my opinion, you need time to find when best to use them! They can work too well as other poster said, so say if you had sex 24 hrs previously, a normal condom would do the trick, where as Performa can just have the opposite effect depending on the person and sex drive. I find they work best after 2 days or more when you've had more of a chance to eh "recover" and are worried about getting there too quick. Just be careful to use correctly, as obviously getting the mild "anaesthetic" for want of a better word on your partner would have disastrous consequences!

As far as I know they use a local anesthetic to numb you.

I dunno, but introducing local anesthetic in a sexual situation is a bit dodgy.

They have a small amount of Benzocaine gel at the tip of the Condom that numb you're bell end they work to well in my experience no pleasure good if you want to impress your parnter in a Porn star stallion kinda way!

I was in a car accident and spent months recovering. Unfortunately the muscle that controls that side of things got weak with the other muscles so now I shoot too early and it really pisses me off, feel like such a let down. Tried using Performa and the only thing they did was make me go soft so im back to the drawing board. Trying to strengthen muscle in that area in general and try to think of other things not sex related when im having sex. GF likes to come 2-3 times a day so its a real problem

I do realise that and use those other ways but gets a bit boring after a while, id prefer to please her in a more traditional way and I know shes disappointed even though she appreciates the effort I make. She still has screaming orgasms but she and I would like/prefer if I could use the real thing to deliver them. I sympathise with the OP as its not a nice situation to find yourself in, especially if it wasnt a problem in the past.

is the numbing sensation very strong or is it just a little bit????
is there any such condom that might do the same thing but not as severe as performa???

I tried posting this few min ago but internet server went down so sorry if its a double post.

Myself and girlfriend went on holidays. I packed a variety pack of condoms that i bought witout looking at the label of box. One evening things got "playful" in the romantically lit bedroom. i put on a condom... any condom.

No harm in trying them, but I'm definitely not a fan! My boyfriend got a box of them before - they were the only ones stocked in the local 24 hour - but he didn't actually realise what they were. He was pounding away at me for nearly half an hour, I eventually told him to stop as it was just too painful! He came straight away after he took off the condom, but he said it was crap, no sensation. We didn't try them again after that!

I've used these with two different guys.Personally, to me they dont feel any differnet to normal condoms but they definatly do make the guy last longer, which is always a big plus. If your worried about coming too quickly then definatly give them a shot.

Definitely found they work far too well. I bought a variety box and there were three of these in it, we tried them one night, and I found myself in the same situation as Funch o' Bucks' girlfriend, he was nowhere near finishing and I was getting sore. In the end we both gave up, because nothing could get him to finish, it was literally completely numb. We threw the rest in the bin! OP, if you're looking for more staying power, there are exercises that you can do to help.
