I bought a Focus Cayo from wiggle and yes she is beautiful. I just want to make sure I have the right size. i went for the XL 58 cm. Im 6ft 1/2 inch but my inside seem is only 31inch but that means my upper body is quite long.
Im thinking of going to the cyclesuperstore to get a bike fit and see if its the right size. When I stand on the bike off the saddle there is about a 1inc clearance below the croch but depends what im wearing really.
    Anyone any tips.

Does it feel too big when you're riding it?

Not really but it does seem now I have to have the saddle quite low to keep a slight bend in the knee on in the 6 o clock position. Body wise it seems perfect. You see I have a long upper body and proportionately small lower body.

Hmm...I think your slightly short legs/long body definitely warrant a proper bike fit. Was this your first road bike?

No i had a giant defy 4 size Large (sloped frame so 25.5cm I think). Thinking of booking into the cyclesuperstore for a fit.

I would suggest going to irishfit.eu for the bike fit. The fitting in css is pretty basic that you would expect in an lbs while the other use an exceptional software, two cameras and biomechanics to set you up. The price is also similar.

I think the large Giant were 56.5cm in their annoying compact geometry, which means a 58cm should fit you in the cayo.

Still worth getting fit properly. My legs are longer than yours even though I am actually nearly 3 inches shorter, so I guess for your height you will have to put up with a lower saddle height and longer stem length. Lumen could shed more light on the subject (awful) and provide some better info. I would have thought longer stem and dropping the steerer tube height might help.
