Thats a shame its clashing Keith, I'm sure it will be a great tournament in Larry's too, this just gives an option to players that want to play an ordinary tournament (plus I can't move it as we are the third Sunday of every month).

Cheers for the heads up anyway.

    Stephen.

No, sorry...I must post that up in future. We are estimating a prize-pool of €5,000 (last month was €4,400).

I'm heading to the match tomorrow myself, first time in Croker (for a GAA or hurling match) in years. Can't wait, even though we have two chances of winning its a fantastic achievement and we're in an All-Ireland quarter final either way.

Best of luck tomorrow, Croke Park is a great venue, when I lived in Dublin I used to go every Sunday, wouldn't matter who was playing, then again I am a culchie :)

(btw Stephen Dublin are the ones in blue and don't shout for off side or handball, you'll only come across silly :D)

Maybe we dont, but considering the Hurling is on later today, it still doesnt clash with this tourney :)

Hmm...would like to play but now that I've retired from grinding the money has to come from life-roll...I'll see if I can rustle up enough change from down the back of the couch!

Was good fun Cheers Stephen. Nice to run good in one! btw you're welcome at the home game but you have to put a tenner bounty on your own head. They were the best terms I could swing for you!

Thanks Stephen, you must have been spelling my name wrong though as I managed to make an amazing €18 profit in the student championships at the Regency last year!

I shall of course be winning the IPO in October though ;)

yeah you're right, complete cover up. basically a guy got it all in with AK v A10 and board came with a 10.

lol :), have the results out in my car so will post them in a while.

Only 23 players (Westbury team event would have affected numbers in a big way) so €2,300 in the prize-pool.

Chopped four ways between JamieCarra, Zuutroy & two other non-boardsies.

    Stephen.

nothing to cover up realy 22 players and 1 big girls blouse played this on sunday..............

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 585 ✭✭✭a147pro

Really enjoyed this carfax and will defo play next month, 23 runners or otherwise, didn't bother me at all. Played the SE later that night and it was like a crap shoot compared even though it has one of the better structures for a lowish buy in in Dub.

sorry i missed this Stephen, was at the westbury......
every month you run this game it seems to clash with something!!

forget this chopping lark, i'll be there next month so i'll just take it down :D
