What ever happened to the Irish Army FALs?

Were they destroyed or surplused out to the states like the enfields?

I was told they were sold to zimbabwe. Might of been a piZZ take :rolleyes: but with the full auto switch on them, they would have very few places open to them for public ownership.

A lot of full auto FAL kits came into the states (I've got an australian)
The receivers are cut, you just transfer the parts onto a new US made receiver that will only allow semi-auto functionality
I build up VZ58s that way

Sold apprently in the US as kits along with the Gustav/Swedish K SMGs.Century Arms got the Lee Enfields.So more than likely they got the FALs as well.:(
