Faulty TV

    My mother bought a TV from a catalogue guy who calls every week to collect payments, (Morses), 56 weeks later it developed a fault, the colour on screen turned green and purple, its still watchable but very annoying. Its a CRT not a lcd.

    Has she any comeback....

    Yes, ask to get it fixed as a TV should last longer then 56 weeks (Sales of Goods Act 1981 yada yada yada).

    Have you put a magnet or a speaker anywhere near it? Leave it plugged out for a couple of hours, turn it back on and repeat if nothing changed. Had a similar problem and it sorted itself out. If not, look for a repair/replacement
