    Hi

I am new to Boards (obviously)

Is it normal for a moderator to post an incorrect statement and then lock a thread?

The advice given is not accurate and by the poster locking the thread, concluding with his/her own inaccurate statement seems to say that it IS correct.

It is baffling to say the least. I thought the moderator should moderate the content of the thread? This moderation seems daft.

    Thanks

    Stanley

OK I'll do that. It's a dangerous practice that.

A reader may assume that is the truth and assume they have no legal rights as a result.

OK for who's the best Captain Kirk maybe, but not for serious financial matters
