Replacement for stolen Trek

So I locked my bike in Dundrum at 7pm yesterday, toddled off for a spot of babysitting and returned at 11 to find no bike. It was Trek hybrid, not even a year old. I'm devastated. I'm also too broke to fund a replacement Trek which is ideally what I would like. So here I am looking for ideas of how I could get a quality hybrid or road bike for less, (under €150 if possible), keeping in mind I'm a woman and not exactly tall - my bike had a 17.5 inch frame. The personals have plenty of bikes if you're a tall man!

    Any suggestions?

Can't help, but I live around Dundrum so will keep an eye out if you describe it a bit. where'd you lock it? and with what?

It's a matte gunmetal grey womens Trek 7.0, 17.5 inch frame, with panniers and rack fitted. It had a hollingsworth cycles sticker on it. It was locked to one of the bike rails outside the old shopping centre beside the phoneboxes on the main st with a coil lock and a U-lock. Thanks for keeping an eye out, I appreciate it.

Make sure you factor in the price of a good lock or 2. Some suggestions and a nice instrutional video in this thread.

Try the UCD bikeshop as they sell off the bikes they use for their cycling tours. Its normally trek navigators or Giant CRS models that they sell on the cheap.

Thanks, my boyfriend just called them and they're selling off in august or september so if I don't get something by then I'd love one of those!

They're not speed machines, but they do come with full racks and kickstands attached, or well they have in previous years. I think some even came with mudguards................. Just makesure you factor in a good lock. Kryptonite or Abus Granite X Plus.
