I can say without a doubt that this course is mint.

Sure if you like business then you will like this course.

OK, first year subjects may look difficult when you see the name, but be assured they aint. 1st year is like leaving cert stuff. Just stay focussed and dont get board and you will find it interesting.

1st year maths just gives you the foundations for equation tweeking, which you need throughout the course. An example of how difficult it is is basic algebra, as in => a = bc => b= a/c... that sort of thing. If you cant do that (which you should from your LC) then dont do it.

Very interesting course, specially in 2nd year, you learn how electricity works and how machines generate it.

    LIT i take it?

Yes, doing my one in LIT at the minute. Always remember that these are where most new jobs are going to be created in the future, so now is a good time to start learning!

Go for it. its a really intresting area something i wish was around when i started college. Alot of my friends did business degrees and they're now accoutants, finance guys etc. Not particulary exciting but if thats the kind of career your after go for a business degree. Did you check out the BSc in Energy U.L has to offer?
