Don't suppose anybody knows of any mini/midi/maxi showjumping that's on in the South Kildare/Carlow/South Dublin area?

Most of the places I've seen advertised have been in North Dublin, North Kildare, Tullamore or Kilkenny, which doesn't really suit as I've a young horse and don't really want to travel her too far initially. As she gets experience competing and going to different places isn't as exciting, I'd be willing to travel more, but initially I'd like something a bit closer.

If anyone could help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Check the SJI bulletin for local upcoming shows - many shows now hold sportsmans classes, open to all, and they can start at any height, from 50/60cm up to 1m.

    Thanks for the info.

Is the SJI bulletin online and do I have to be a member to access it?

yea members pay an annual fee for the bulletin which comes in the post..don't think its up online, but you can check it here anyway, just in case http://www.sji.ie/

though, if there are SJI you know of locally, maybe chance going to them. even if they don't have sportsmans classes, they prob will have 80cm/90cm/1m classes (registered) - but you can still enter them on a temporary ticket. if clear you won't get points nor prize money, just a rosette. but its still good for experience if thats what you're looking for.
