Cycling to Switzerland

    I'm cycling to Switzerland (from South Dublin) in 2 weeks time. - Has anyone travelled this direction before? Can anyone suggest a decent route?

    Will probably head down to Fishgard, Dover-Calais, etc. Its about 900 miles and expect to complete it in 10 days. But would be interested to hear other suggestions or diversions?

    Will be carrying own gear with me..

    This route goes from the Atlantic coast of France through a part of Switzerland (and then on through central and eastern Europe). It starts at the mouth of the Loire in Saint Nazaire, which may not be very convenient for you, but maybe you could hook up with at some point...
