    Hi there i was wondering if u could help me out, we have been trying to get broadband now for ages but no luck. We have tried eircom and vodafone mobile but we rcant get 3g at all. We recently have looked into 3broadband and i think we r just about in coverage.My question does 3 use the same coverage as vodafone mobile broadband Thank you

    Three, Vodafone, O2 and Meteor all have their own separate networks.

    If you are barely inside Three's coverage map, it more than likely won't work for you.

    If you know fall under the National Broadband Scheme 3 should be able to provide a reliable connection, check to see if your area is covered here... http://ve.bizmaps.ie/threeireland/Pages/Public/NBSPublicPage.aspx

    3's maps are extremely optimistic compared with Vodafone's.

    @drunkmonkey, do you make money selling 3 Modems?

    eircom is Meteor for Mobile.

    Tesco is O2, but not offering a data service yet.
