Problem with RTE iplayer with 3G card

I have attempted unsuccessfully with the SIMs from two 3G service providers to view RTE iplayer with an unlocked Huawei E630 3G card connected to a Dell Inspiron 9300 running Windows XP SP3.

Has anybody had any problems using the RTE iplayer with a 3G card?

I have tried to resolve this issue with RTE and the service providers but
    have been unsuccessful so far.

I understand a reasonably fast download connection speed (> 1Mbps) is necessary but I have the problem with a download connection speed greater than 2Mbps!

I have no problem viewing YouTube video clips.

The RTE iplayer is now working with my system!

    Something somewhere has changed.

I do notice that some iplayer videos do not start playing at the beginning but this problem can easily be overcome with the playing slider control.
