Is there a ride this length in September or October? I am not sure I will get my bike in time to do the SK on the 30th of August.

    Cycling sites are blocked here.

    Thanks.

Thanks Rob. This really helps me out. I noticed that you are in north county Dublin. Do you know any good training routes for a novice around Balbriggan? I am hoping to get started on a quiet road away from potholes & lunatics in cars.

    Have a look at http://www.swordscc.com/
Yhere got to club league and there scroll down to "Race routes on Map my Ride" there are a few good training routes there all on mostly quiet roads. If youre starting off the touring group on saturday is a good place to get a bit of company and a good spin

We're in the process of putting together preparations for a ~100km Connor Pass Challenge in September (19th). Nice route, could be worth training up for. Details will be up on the CI web calendar in a wee bit.

Can recommend the Donamon Tour on 27th Sept. They're a few miles outside Roscommon. A nice mix of flat and drag and good feedstop.Last year was really a 40 rider club run on the 120 until after the feedstop. Might suit you speed merchants for a repeat of TofL fast run

I think you will find that it includes the Sally Gap.
