lost 3g, have insurance, can i claim a 3gs?

    Hi,

    I have a iphone 3g and I have insurance through Carphone Warehouse. Does anyone know if I claim insurance will they give me a 3g or would I have the option to get a 3gs?

    You'll get a 3G, they are still available.

    Is it an 8GB or 16GB 3G? 'far as I know only the 8gigs are still available unless there's still old stock knocking about.

    You Lost your Iphone?,Careful with your choice of words. do you mean someone stole it? Check your T&C, you might get a bit of a hop!!!!

    Can't see insurance company paying out for loosing it - stealing or accidental damage is more likely!!!

    You will get an Iphone 3g as that is what you insured for. If you clam dont ask for a 3gs ad the people you are dealing with might think you "lost your 3g" to get a 3gs.

    Report it stolen asap. Get the 3g and try and flog it. You say that you lost it you my get nothing.
