I see a car for sale in the North for £1600. I check the VRT calculator, and the OMSP is £8000, and they are charging €1300 Vrt tax. This is ludicrous. Can you call and ask them or whats my renumeration?

VRT is based on what the Revenue think the car is worth here.

You'll have to pay the VRT at their assessed amount and then appeal it.
