Hi all. We`re travelling on honeymoon in Jan coming. Haven`t booked anything yet but the rough plan is Miami for few nights, then get a cruise from there, and maybe finish up in vegas for few nights. Anybody any views on this or been there done that.

A good friend did it after their wedding in March and loved it and another friend is doing it as we speak and loving it too so if you have the chance then defo have a go.

The newer boats are amazing now compared to yesteryear's versions with tons of things to do to keep you occupied.

gizmo73 that sounds like a lovely honeymoon. we re thiking something the same for jan as well. we re thinking san fran, L.A, vegas then hopefully hawaii. not sure what it ll be like weather wise though!. think it ll be too cold for new york or florida. winter is a hard enough season to find somewhere to go on honeymoon!!

I would also think a 3 day cruise would be long enough if it is your first cruise........

It is an Island at the tip of America - the Southernmost Point of USA. 150 miles from Miami, 90 miles from Cuba. It's a laid back chilled out place and it is so small you won't need a car. Perfect for a relaxing honeymoon - you can hire bikes and cycle everywhere.

Ernest Hemmingway spent years in KW and you can visit his house and see the 6 toed cats which are very cool!!!

And you can also visit Robert the Doll!!!!!

I'd probably try and spend at least 5 days in KW...........
