lost the D O E cert

can anyone help me i lost my doe cert for my jeep and need to get tax now,it only went in for the test in January so the cert is still ok will the tax office let me use the old cert on file or will i have to go and try get a copy of the cert from the test center or even worse redo the test. i dont think there is a point in…

i dont think there is a point in trying to call the tax office and cant get up there for a few days.

Ring the garage you got it tested in.

They can photocopy the receipt from the cert book, re-stamp it and the tax office should accept it.

They do in Sligo anyway.
