Twin's at night?

Over the last few nights i've noticed one, maybe more, twin engine props flying out of EIDW at about 1am. I can hear them from my bedroom. I live under the approach path btw.
They sound like small prop a/c. Smaller than a F27/F50 but maybe similar in size to a Seneca.
I'm guessing they are mail/cargo planes but just curious to know which carrier they operate for.

    Any ideas?

Perhaps Aer Aranns ATR 42/72's? Air Southwest? Air Contractors Hercules L382G or their Shorts 360's ?

Air Atlantic based coventry send one or two of the aircraft over on mail runs most nights. Nice little number if your the seneca doing the Irish sea every night, sounds like proper flying to me.

No the a/c I keep hearing is smaller than an ATR, Herc or Shorts. The engine sounds higher pitched.

Could be that seneca yaeger! I'm never arsed getting out of bed to turn the scanner on. Is there any online info on "all" arrivals/departures into Dub?

Atlantic have been sending the Lockheed Electra the last few weeks, probably was that.

Just logged Piper PA34 G-CTWW taking off at 1:29am, followed by ATP G-BUUP at 1:38am.

Logged on an SBS-1 transponder decoder.

I'd love that job. The NZ post service use Metroliners and I hear them late at night on the scanner. They land no matter how fogged, wet or windy Wellington is and always sound like they enjoy themselves! No Pax must mean a totally different style of handflying.
