    Buy a used Sky+ Digibox.
Connect it then phone Sky to get your card activated in it.
You'll need a quad-output LNB and two cables connected.

Sky charges €199 (99E for box and 100E installation)

if you want to go for the cheaper option, go for Sam's option

Ring them and say you think it's too expensive and you're going to switch to NTL.

I did it last week and they're upgrading me to Sky+ for free. I said my friend got it for free as a new customer and i've been paying them X euros a month for X months blah blah................

depends how much the ebay option is.
current sky upgrade is €49, + €50 install I think, and then there is the 12 month contract bit, as well as the extra €15/month HD sub.

there might be a 3rd option though. Call sky up, bluff a cancellation, and see what they offer you.
