Don't forget your block of cheese, make sure it's packed!

We're heading over end of Sep. Gonna make the Meganite and Cocoon closing parties among others. Haven't been in 5 years!

Sounds like my worst nightmare to be honest!

Id be more thinking along the lines of Dice,Vath,Hawtin and carola in Amnesia on Mondays.

Also Ive been in Ibiza 5 times now and last year I swore id never go again.Rip off drink prices, ridiculous admissions and the bull**** the promoters talk about it being "all about the music" but its about nothing other than money.

Ill spend my money in Berlin me thinks.

judging from your planned nights you might not get this place but if you want a good new-ish club to go to, check out Bar Delano right next door to and owned bora bora.

we stumbled in last year by accident and didnt leave, it was rocking. tec-haus, tehcno, minimal. free in, normal enough (for ibiza) drink prices.

opened in 07, and this year its starting to get a name for itself.

cool thanks for the recommendation im staying in the Jet right by Bora Bora

I may have came across a bit cheesy above, point taken!! I can't help it though I'm in love with Roger Sanchez, his music blows my mind!! Prefered him in Pacha as its one of my faves over there but I will brave Amnesia for him!

A bit of Danny Tenaglia at Space also - that man can still rock it :D

And for the first time I plan to last all Sunday night and go the Circo Loco at DC10 monday morning I've heard so much about it - any of you been??

Know some people working out there, word is that uplifting House is well and truly back instead of the dreadful darkness over the last 2 years:)

jaysus mate you certainly do have a tendency to change your musical preferences (not necessarily a bad thing) although quite often, ive always liked deep house but a lot of it is soulless and i couldn't listen to it mixed on it's own it needs to be mixed with soulful and funky house IMO.

I've always loved deep house, but just have not played very much of it until recently.. My music tastes are constantly changing/evolving really - check out my latest mix, start off with smooth deep house and blends into techy chunky stuff

I'm here now till Sept. A few things -DC10 is closed. Not opening again. Forget about it. As far Delano, protentious sh1t to be honest - don't bother. And Jonny I can tell you that "uplifting house" is not on the way back!

Im headin on Friday cant wait.. My personal recommendations would be Space or Pacha for the best venues but it seems Amnesia now has all the good DJs and events.. You can't go far wrong with Roger Sanchez for a good night in my opinion - Tuesdays @ Amnesia..

Im sure other people will have plenty of different advice for you depending on taste! As for over played and over done I couldn't disagree more :P over priced I can relate to but if you are willing to pay you're in for a holiday you'll never forget!!!

Im just back and heading back over for the closings in Sep!
Have to say its still as good as ever ( except the absence of DC10) and its pretty busy despite all the talk I heard about it being quiet!

Cocoon at Amnesia on Mondays by far the highlight- Sven Vath is a genius!

Bosco.....It all depends what your after-cant go wrong with Space on Sunday or Tuesdays (Carl Cox).
Amnesia on Monday or Tuesdays also an option!
Pacha have nights to please everyone-My fav is Subliminal on Wednesdays with Erick Morillo not half as packed as David Guetta's rubbish on Thursdays. Also have Swedish House Mafia on Monday if your into that kinda thing!
Wouldnt be bothered with Privelege, hear its pretty dead this year!
Could also do Eden on Friday (Wonderland with Pete Tong)

    Plenty of options really!

Other than clubbing theres plenty to do-Theres a few new beach bars in Playa Den Bossa-Ushuaia on Sundays is pretty good.
Day trip to Formentera always a nice option!
Also Mambo for sunset is a must!

Thinking of heading over with 3 friends in September for a week - thinking 7th-14th Sept- is it still pretty lively over there at that stage?

Could anyone recommend a good place or area to stay, a lot of the package places I've looked at seem to be quite fare out, and family orientated, we want to be near to all the action, as won't be renting a car. We're not looking for anything majorly fancy, just somewhere that'd be safe for 4 girls to base our selves for all the madness!
Also are there any good packages out there, or would I be better off booking flights & apartment seperately?
Really wanna head over, I say I will every year, and hopefully it'll happen this year !!

Also, is there a good mix of nationalities over there - is it still very English-orientated or is there a good mix of people from everywhere - hope that doesn't sound offensive, just have memories of watching ibiza uncovered on Sky years ago-hopefully it's changed a bit as not really into the whole footie-head thing!!
