    Last night a poet stole the dreams of an Angel softly sleeping
    An amorous show of all that glows left his spirit gently weeping
    The old man wore a tender smile, where once his face was torn
    Familiar to a thousand eyes, a thousand Lives reborn…

    A changing of the seasons takes place within one night,
    A mystic presence fills the air as the soul takes Holy flight;
    Contained inside each raindrop a voice of hope rings true
    A letter sent by private mail, prophetic to a few...

    In a sea of smoke and charcoal grey the world above is slowing,
    A stream of all thats possible joins the River ever-growing
    The quests we make are endless, we journey far and wide
    no matter where the road may lead, from truth we cannot hide...

    Proficient in the art of words my silhouetted friend
    The veil reveals two hearts entwined, as we near a faithful end
    The graciousness of those who view the world with loving eyes
    shall overcome the squalls of hate, and all that fear denies.

    That is excellent! Did you write it or is it by some other poet?

    Hey there,

    Yes I wrote it myself. Dont really do a whole lot of poetry but I did this this one last year that some friends liked so I said I'd post it just to see what people thought of it. Thanks a million for the positive response. It means a lot,

    Karl.
