Cracked Laptop Screen

    I stood on my Laptop that was on the floor :o Is it worth getting it repaired?It will cost anything from €135 upwards for a new screen and more for a glossy screen which my lappy has.Its about 2yrs old HP5000
    Appreciate any advice.Was thinking off buying 2nd hand one here on boards.:)

    Glossy screen shouldn't cost anymore to replace. If anything they should be cheaper. Because the are now more popular.
    If you have extra software like word, etc etc it would make the laptop more valuable to you.

    You could always try and replace it yourself. It will work out cheaper and make it worth your while keeping the laptop.

    If you didnt want to spend the money on buying and getting someone to replace it you could attach it to an external monitor. It should work fine like that without the portability obviously.
