Just bought a HP Deskjet F4210. Cost €30 in Tesco. Its a brilliant printer/scanner/copier however the ink price is a problem. Anyone know where to get cheap HP300 or HP300XL black or colour ink refills?

    Thanks in advance.

I use www.inkmaestro.ie.. Their ownbrand stuff is very good, there's a good few different sites out there some are cheaper n some are worse quality.. eitherway, inkmaestro does the job for me, been using em for the last 2 years for home and office use n never had a problem with em

Eamon, u might be able to get those carts refilled... Afaik u can't refill every cart, one thing I always recommend before buying a printer is check the cost of the ink first as thats where the real price lays..

Its actually cheaper for me to dump the printer and buy another one as the original HP inks are costing from €30 upwards!! Printer purchase was a spur of the moment thing, however will research more in future. Thanks for the website info.

used inkjet.ie a couple of times. they are based in Monaghan, good customer service and delivery turn around, have about 6 printers, got refills for a Konica Minolta laser printer (seemed to be the only ones providing refills for this printer), saved about 350 euro compared with buying new from Viking / Hunt

Dunnes has another printer offer at the moment - A Canon picture printer reduced from 39.95 to 19.95 - however the inks cost €20 each.

I buy from an ebay shop called "completebuy" based in California. They sell generic branded ink at about 10% of the original. They have an unbelievable delivery time, often less than a week.

I will say that Ebay is the best place to buy from,Uk based shops though.

Inkjet.ie looks quite expensive for HP remanufactured cartridges. HP350= €19.95 and HP351= €23.50 plus shipping.

any more opinions on inkmaestro.ie and how long do they take to deliver (to Dublin)?... thanks

Ebay, is by far the cheapest place to buy ink, Just watch you dont buy the compatable or refilled ink as they have a high failure rate.....

i bought refilled cartridges on ebay recently, the black was fine but the colour one was faulty. They sent me another one promptly but after a few days of using it all the pictures come out green again... i don't think i'll ever buy a refilled colour cartridge again :(

I've just ordered some original cartridges for my old HP psc 1215 from www.justinkandpaper.com in the UK and postage is free.

    Eabay, Ebay, Ebay!

    Ebay price for 12 ink cartage's: €20.00
Irish retail price 12 ink cartage's€120.00

    Saving of €100.00

Ebay ones are 3rd party brand but the same quality in my opinion.

I use www.igateink.ie . I used to order over the phone but they have a website now and their prices are cheaper on line than they used to be over the phone. Very cheap on their original HP printer cartridges and they stock all brands just in case youve changed you rprinter since your last post. If you're still looking for a cheap price on ink, i'd suggest these guys.

Thanks PaddyMack I had a look at that site & got some compatible toners for next to nothing compared to the HP stuff. Got stuff from Ebay earlier in the year and it exploded all over the box after the courier journey from Europe. Let's support Irish Businesses anyway.
