Just got Sky HD and am loving it. The installer put a quad LNB on the dish so I wired in the freesat on my Panny G10 and am using the old sky box in one of the bedrooms. Question is.... Is it worth getting a FreeSat viewing card from Sky for the old box...? I already have a lot of channels with no card in it. Its a shame I dont have RTE etc but I think I can live with that. Also is there any way of removing the channels from the EPG that require the card... gets annoying flicking through all the unavailable channels.

    Thanks

If you're living in ROI legally you can't purchase a FSFS card. However if you're living in NI or any other part of UK you can order one from Sky (c£20). This card will get you the FTV version of Five on your EPG (useful for setting recordings) as well as Five's associates (Fiver, Five Us etc). AFAIK there's no way of removing the channels from the EPG but you can use the favourites menu for up to 50 channels. Hope this helps.

Thanks for that...! Sounds good. I had been using favorites so I'll continue that way. I'm living in Ireland to the extra channels will have to wait..! :D

    Thanks again
