Looking to start an Alternative Rock/Punk/Alternative Metal Band.

    Hi, I'm an experienced singer(18 years old) who writes lyrics and who has been in bands before. I have alot of experience of stage and I'm looking to start a new band. I want to make a new sound, which has not been heard in Cork before. I want to fuse an Alternative Punk/Rock sound with an Alternative Metal and maybe a little Grunge ,Ska and Pop Punk. The possibilities are endless!

    I am looking for guitarists(preferably who can vocalise and harmonise/maybe double vocals like Taking Back Sunday), a bassist and a drummer(preferably a heavy enough style who but has an ear for good music).

    My own influences are bands such as : Taking Back Sunday, Flyleaf(a rock/alternative metal band from the U.S/some unbelievable riffs), Jimmy Eat World, Linkin Park, Pendulum, Kids in Glass Houses, Youmeatsix, Bayside, The Beatles, Sublime and Billy Talent.

    I'm Based In Cork, and I'm going to be a fresher in UCC next year. I'm looking for people who are pretty serious about being in a band, who are preferably over 18(or maybe 17 if your really good :) ), who have a good imagination and who have good stage presence ;).
