[June 28th] VCRAI & Fox Target Competitions Mid-Land Range

    These competitions are open to all people that have an interest in Vintage Classic Rifle shooting and Fox Target shooting.

    They will be shot in the prone position off sand bags at 300 yards.

    Vintage Classic Rifle Competition will be shot with classic type Rifles.

    The Fox Target Competition will be shot with the same calibres as used in previous Fox Target Competitions.

    Book in time at the Mid-Lands Range 11 pm Sunday 28th 2009.

    Practise and zeroing in at 300 yards can be done on Sunday 21st June from 2 to 4 pm, at the Mid-Lands Range, Blue Ball, Tullamore, County Offaly.

    All are welcome to attend this practise day.

    A special thanks to the Mid-Lands people, Johnpaul, Jim and Mary Griffin, Tony and Cristy and all who gave the support and help in the running this competition.

    It was a great day, we had 24 people competing from various clubs around the Country, a good selection of classic firearms and plenty of good conversation.

    Thanks again to all who took part and made it a great day.
