Just wondering has anyone used them before and what are they like. they seem to have very cheap package deals at the moment. was looking at a week in sharm el sheik for 450 inclusive seems like a good deal.

    AVOID Gohop.ie.

Booked a holiday for over 2000euros with go hop (www.gohop.ie) and got an error message to say it couldn't be finalised. Called them the next day and they said it was too much to charge on a laser card and to try booking the flights and hotel separately. Booked them again and got the same message. Called them again and they said that the transactions didn't go through AGAIN so I gave them a different credit card and booked the holiday (at a more expensive rate thanks to the flights going up in price). Then when I checked my laser card the previous 2 transactions totally nearly 3000euros had been charged to my card!!! I rang GoHop and they cancelled the most recent transaction but the original booking of over 2000euros needed to be credited back - 4 days later and Im still out over 2000euros, just called GoHop and to say they couldn't care less is an understatement. My advice is to book with somebody else - these guys are unprofessional with poor customer service and they haven't got a clue what they are at - their senior sales person can't even pronounce the name of the place they are selling - she kept calling "Marbella" - "Mar-Bella"!

Booked with them many times and always found them good to use, i like the fact that if you ring them they are based in Ireland rather than bangalore. i got stuck in Lanzarote with four friends during the ash cloud and if it wasnt for them I would still be there 6 feet under as my friends all panicked but thankfully gohop got us home as I couldnt get through to ryanair or aerlingus and there was no alternative flights home with either of those two for weeks. truly very helpful.

I saw a price for a holiday on their website. Called them up and then they said that in fact that price was wrong. Holiday would have cost about 200 more than the price advertised. Enough said, went elsewhere.

I've travelled with Gohop a few times and have never had any problems with them. I found them to be very helpful and willing to work with what I wanted rather than just offering me a standard package and found they had a very personal approach, going out of their way to help me get what I wanted from my trip. I would definitely recommend them and plan to travel with them again.
