Normally (nearly always) its the first 6 races at any meeting.

The slip will have 1-6 down the side which means first race, second race, thrid etc..

You can pick as many selections per race as you want - so if there is 3-4 you want to put in to increase your chances then you can put them in; but it will also increase the cost.

Here's an example one just to show you:
1 - 10, 5, 6 (these numbers are the numbers of the horses chosen)
    2 - 4
    3 - 5
    4 - 6, 7
    5 - 7, 8
    6 - 8 , 12 , 13

Now to see how much it will cost you have to multiply all your selections: so in the first race we have 3 selections, the fourth and fifth races we have two selections and in the sixth race we have three selections. So its 3 x 2 x 2 x 3 = 36 bets. Now you have 36 bets you can put whatever stake from €0.10 upwards on those bets - so a €0.10c stake will cost you €3.60 overall to place.

A selection from each race has to place, so its advisable in races such as a four horse (where there is only 1 place) to pick maybe 2 selections.

    Any questions?

It's usually a good bet to do during the Cheltenham festival. The win dividend can be huge, over 1000 sometimes.
