The Raw roster is touring next week so they recorded next monday's Raw last night. It looks good enough, Ted is obviously turning face soon which most expected but Henry?
Thanks to Michael Thompson for these spoilers to air next week, July 6th:

    * They taped Hornswoggle vs. Chavo Guerrero for the July 9th Superstars. Chavo wrestled on his knees and lost to the tadpole splash.

    * Ted DiBiase Sr. came out as the special RAW guest host as a heel but got a nice pop. Priceless came out with him and he cut a promo. He announced Chris Jericho and Edge vs. Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes for the Unified Tag Team Titles at Night of Champions and Cody vs. Mark Henry and Ted vs. Randy Orton for tonight.

    * Edge and Chris Jericho defeated The Colons in a non-title match. Jericho took advantage of the ref distracted, hit the Codebreaker and Edge speared Carlito for the win. Afterwards, Carlito turned on Primo and beat him up pretty bad.

    * Gail Kim and Mickie James defeated Maryse and Alicia Fox. Gail got the pin on Maryse.

    * Cody Rhodes tried to talk Ted DiBiase Sr. out of his match with Mark Henry but couldn't. Ted talked about how Dusty Rhodes was in the WWE HOF and he wasn't but he was better than Dusty.

    * Mark Henry beat Cody Rhodes via count out. Henry dominated Rhodes and hit his World's Strongest slam and Cody walked out. Mediocre reaction for Henry.

    * Randy Orrton defeated Ted DiBiase Jr. in a good offense match. Orton hit the RKO and pinned Ted clean.

    * MVP hosted the VIP Lounge with special guest Jack Swagger. Swagger made references to MVP being in prison. MVP defended it. MVP was ready to fight but Swagger said he doesn't fight criminals.

    * Evan Bourne defeated Kofi Kingston in a non-title match. Bourne hit the Shooting Star Press to win and afterwards, Big Show came out to destroy them both.

    * John Cena cut a promo backstage and everyone hated it.

    * Ted DiBiase Sr. and Ted Jr. argued backstage and it ended with Ted Jr. slapping his dad.

    * Triple H and John Cena fought to a No Contest in the main event. The match was a good one with most of the people rooting for Triple H. Rhodes and DiBiase ran down and attacked to cause the no contest. Orton came out and said since nobody won, he doesn't have to defend his belt against either of them. Ted DiBiase Sr. came out and announced John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Randy Orton in a 3way for the WWE title at Night of Champions.

After the match, John Cena cut a promo in the ring but got boo'd mostly. He called out LEgacy and they all got in th ering. Orton was face to face with Cena and HHH when Rhodes/DiBiase bailed on him. Cena hit the FU and Triple H Pedigree'd Orton. Ted Sr. came back out and slapped Ted in the face.

Typical the only thing WWE can do with a tag team once they lose the titles is break them up.

So... Legacy possibly finished.... Carlito and Primo possibly splitting up.... No mention of HHH attacking Cena after Orton, taking advantage like a real Cerebral Assassin should have done.

Yup, another day in Raw Land. Where nothing makes any god damn sense

half of it sounds good half of it sounds rubbbish

    The Good:

MVP vs Swagger feud maybe with reference to MVPs prison time like Bischoff suggested recently.

Bourne vs Kofi feud maybe for the US title would be awesome imo

Priceless getting a chance to not just be Ortons lackies (going for the tag titles again at NOC)

Gail getting the win on her debut, maybe she can look better on Raw than she did on SD since her return

Ted Sr being on the show full stop

    The Bad:

breaking up the colons is pointless, they are far far more likely to get over/airtime as a team and Primo who imo is the better one is less likely to get a singles push.

Legacy are probably breaking up a bit early for my liking as they never did really get to come off as a dominant force instead just seeming like as i said Ortons lackies but atleast priceless are united atm.

No Miz, No Big Show, no Santino
okay some of you might see these as good points but thats two weeks in a row for Santino.... if they have nothing for him why not draft him, i mean surely one of them would be better for the superstars match than Chavo vs Hornswaggle

So is the brand split being ignored again like before the draft?

Swagger,Henry,Gail Kim all appearing on on raw?

there was another mini draft, which was really just an excuse to move up the ECW talent as im sure a new crop of FCW talent is probably on the way

    Makes sense I spose

    Anybody decent down in FCW

I'm not much of a SOS fan so anybody besides him?

dont actually watch it regularily myself (it can be found on dailymotion etc) but ive heard good things about Joe Hennig aka Mr Perfects son, similarily Drew McIntyre is supposed to be decent. I drafted a FCW guy called Eric Escobar in the draft thread too hes friends with Carlito and Primo and used to be FCW tag champion with Primo. Brett Dibiase is there too among other 2nd generation stars

Dusty Rhodes does commentary down there too, so he could be a future guest host a la Ted Snr next week

completley right dunno how I missed that but it was more so the other 2 as that makes 2 raws in a row where Santino isnt on air despite not being involved in the draft and the MIz who has also been getting pushed is mia next week too. IMO either would have been a good fit for the Superstars match

Legacy just got a new theme recorded by Adelitas Way so it may not be the end for them yet

oh completely spot on, but lets be honest id prefer to see santina instead of hornswaggle, can they not just get rid of the lil fugger, especially now that golddust is gone to ecw!

im guessing cos maybe they are dropping the Priceless name and maybe keeping the Legacy one even if they leave Randy so obviously their old theme couldent be used.... i could be wrong though

I imagine the idea of pairing them with Orton was to elevate them and with the right booking it may have worked, but they made them look so weak week after week, its like they were purposely trying to destroy them

Swagger straight into a feud. Good to hear they didn't waste any time. Him not wrestling 'criminals' fits well with his character. I have a feeling he might get the better of MVP too unless they want to force the issue of MVP becoming a top face in the future. Swagger has had had a quick rise through the ranks. Too quick perhaps?
