IT was alright, having played for the Ted Webb cup myself, its only since listening to that that I realised who Ted Webb was! :o

I listened to it on Saturday morning. I thought it was good. I don't think many GAA fans would begrudge Mayo another All-Ireland win. I've seen them play in 6 finals, including a replay: 1989, 1996 x 2, 1997, 2004 and 2006. They should have won in 1989 and certainly in 1996. The 1997 team wasn't as good as the previous year and the less said about 2004 and 2006 the better.

Had to laugh at the guy that was saying that in 1996 the referee (Pat Mc) sent off Our best Player(Liam Mc Hale) and Meaths worst Player(Colm Coyle)!
He also said something like he wouldnt be able to shake his hand if he met him. It still hurts him!
Jayses he was a bitter aul ****....

Though it was just a audio re-hash of Keith Duggan's book 'House of Pain'

Regardless, it has got me really excited about the Connaught final, can't wait to see this Mayo team against something resembling 'real' opposition.
