    Hi,

What would be the best HD ready projector with HDMI and remote that will cost between 500 -700 euro? Also warranty on kit and lamp would be important and also lamp costs going forward.

Unit is to be used to replace TV and will be hooked up to a sky box and PS3

    Cheers

    Hi

You should be looking at an Optoma PJ,If its mostly sky the HD65 will be okay,
Also remember to add in the screen price!

    Hope this helps

    Basically look for...

    - 1280x720 Resolution (720p) 1080p compatiable
    - 16:9 Native Aspect
    - 1200-2000 lumens
    - HDMI connection
    - Contrast ratio 2500:1 or higher.

Any thing that fits into this category would be good on PS3. Sky will look crap on any projector when compared to PS3 with Blu-ray, but you can always upgrade to SKY HD in the future.

    I'd recommend...

    Optoma HD65,
Optoma GT700 (Cheaper version of HD65)
    LG AH215 (Good image)
    Etc...
