I got a contractor to do a job on the house. As it happens he is a friend. He wants me to pay the money for the job straight into his account. He has openly told me this is to avoid paying tax.

I aint happy doing that. What think ye?

I had to think about this one and I'm going to lock this- this my friend is a moral question and belongs in Personal Issues.

Based on professional codes of ethics no professional advisor can ever facilitate in fraud, which is what your pal is doing.

So if you want the thread moved to PI let me know- else I'm going to keep it closed.
