Anyone got any tips for keeping the Crows & Magpies off of the bird table ?

We were ok last year, but this year they seem to have taken it over & we dont seem to get any of the smaller birds within a mile of it.

It's a standard 'house on a leg' type...

    thanks

    Andi

When I built mine I attached chicken wire around the area where the birds enter the table to access the food. I also hang seed and nut feeders off the bottom of the table, but where the birds access the seed in the seed feeders I cut the area where the birds hand onto so that the Rooks & Jackdaws find it difficult to swing off whilst trying to access the seeds, cannot prevent the Jackdaws from feeding on the hanging nut feeders, but its only a few that manage to do it.
