Hi, just wondered if anyone knows if the beginners night in the Badminton Club near Lady Lane is still on Wednesday nights? What would a person xpect for their first night?! Also, would there be spare rackets or would we need to bring one?

yes beginers night is still on, on a Wednesday night. You'll basically just play a few games with other player of varying degrees of skill. If there's people of the same level you play with them otherwise you'll play in mixed teams of skill don't be afraid. you'd probably be better off bring your own racket you can pick them up fairly cheaply in town you could try TK Maxx as well.

Thanks for the reply. Thinking of going down with a friend tomorrow night. She's a complete beginner too so would we be playing each other? We could be really awful! Maybe we might buy a couple of cheap rackets this week, play around for the week and then head down next Wednesday instead?! Is it busy on Wednesday nights?

It depends generally it's not busy you'll definately get a game. you might be playing with each other if its complete newbies or playing againset each other to make the team more evenly matched.

    I might see you there
