    ????? Why would ALL the airfares go up suddenly ? You probably still believe that its not the promoters that are screwing us over, "oh its the insurance and the VAT". Well put your foot down then. Dont line the promoters pockets, seek a cheaper and fairer priced ticket elsewhere.

    With Ryanair typically keeping very low fares to the UK it's sometimes a no-brainer to fly across. You usually have to go between Tuesday and Thursday to get the really cheap flights.

    I like the Birmingham NEC (or LG Arena) as it's right beside the airport, so once the gig is over you can eventually kip it and grab the first flight back to Ireland the following morning. Manchester is a good choice too; it's near the city and like Birmingham Airport it is serviced by train.
