Haha, i would so give you a 2CV, but i've none left... for the first time in 15 years, i'm 2cv-less :-)

I saw that Pao parked on North Main Street a few months ago.
Not the worst looking yoke, better than the Figaro imo.

It's defo a local car. I've seen a girl driving it in Blarney village a few weeks ago.

I remember these cars over 20 years ago and the Pao looks very like them, well the same shape I suppose

Its a Honda N360 and I remember seeing one in the early 80s on original Irish plates.

I drive one of these fine vehicles (as well as owning a proper classic).
They're actually 1lt, and not all auto boxes (mine isn't).

They're a 'love-em-or-hate-em' yoke alright. I love them, but do cringe when I see them showing up at classic shows. Mind you - they are twenty years old at this stage, so maybe I'm just being a snob.

I've seen a figaro out in rochestown quite a bit. Nice looking car apart from the "primer" grey paint.
Speaking of retro cars I was in capetown SA last year and the place is littered with these

It's the VW citi, facelifted Mark I golf with polo interior and running gear.
They retail at about 100,000 rand (thats about €8-10K) brand spanking new.

There was very nearly a cork crowd importing them too!!!!
After spending 2 weeks trying to work out how I was going to make my millions I decided against it as I felt the transport, VRT and VAT would fla the price.
    Still an option though. Maybe.
What are they selling here for?

    SNAP !

I just took a photo of a 90 WW reg one in Galway a few days ago, not knowing what the hell it was........!

BTW - drove a 2CV for the first time today - hilarious ! Not a computer -let alone a door handle - in sight ! :D

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
