ok....so I'm probably like everyone else here and freaking about work and money etc etc. Just want to know what the issue is with companies when you are not successful in an interview that you cannot apply again for up to a year if they advertise again, even if it is for a different role! OR am I being fobbed off my recruitment agencies!?!?!? as this seems to be the excuse I've been getting back about roles now advertised for Boston Scientific and Pfizer which I interviewed for last year and was not successful with.

Also I have applied for every single job advertised in the Science/Pharma industry across the country and I am not even getting interviews......do these jobs exist?!?!?!? Is there anyone else out there finding themselves in the same position?

I have 4.5 years experience in industry and have a M.Sc in Biotech and cannot even get an interview....I'm scared :(

It's the same with most industries, not just yours. Keep on trucking!

I know everyone seems to be in the same sinking boat at the moment!

Have applied for everything in my field and then jobs come up which I would have walked into 2 years ago and now I cannot even get a reply that they got my CV dont mind getting an interview....and this whole waiting to apply again for 6/12 months means this is going to be me for the forseeable future :(:(:(

Same thing. Register for a FAS course or something, will get something out of it and will pass the time.

registering with FAS is futile, has anyone ever got anything from them.

the only interview i will get anytime soon is the one changing over from job seekers benefit to job seekers allowance....think i'm going to wear a suit for that one and bring my CV with me :)

Plenty of courses available from them, in class and online.
